What is Keepzia?

A Photos free-space app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Exact duplicate detection (byte hashes), video compression, Un-Live, bulk cleanups, organize, EXIF clean, and library health — all wizard-based.

Why is the version 0.x and not 1.0?

We’re intentionally pre-1.0. Marketing versions start with 0. (e.g. 0.7.4) until the product feels ship-stable as a full release. Build numbers still climb independently.

What is Free Preview vs Pro?

Without Pro, every wizard runs in Free Preview: full UI and savings estimates, but Photos is never modified. Pro Monthly or Pro Lifetime unlocks real cleanups after user confirmation.

Which IAP products exist?

Only two: auto-renewable monthly (app.keepzia.photos.pro.monthly) and one-time lifetime non-consumable (app.keepzia.photos.pro.lifetime). No yearly plan.

What permissions does Keepzia request?

Photos library (read/write) as the core feature, and optional Notifications. Never camera, mic, location, contacts, or tracking. Purpose strings must match real use (Review 5.1.1).

When does the system Photos dialog appear?

After first-launch welcome explains why, when the user taps Continue — Allow Photos. Also from Dashboard / Free Space cards or Settings if still not determined or denied.

Does Limited Photo Library work?

Yes. .limited is treated as valid access. Users can add more items later in system Settings → Photos.

Does Free Preview require Photos access?

No. Sample catalog mode works without Photos so users can explore wizards. Real library analysis needs access.

Are deletes permanent?

Deletes go through Photos system APIs; devices often place items in Recently Deleted for a limited time. The app warns before bulk delete / Un-Live / replace original / EXIF strip.

What about App Tracking Transparency?

Not used. Do not add ATT unless you later add tracking SDKs (we don’t recommend it for this product).

Export compliance / encryption?

ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption is false — standard HTTPS and StoreKit only, no custom crypto.

How do I contact support?

Where is the privacy policy?

On this site at /privacy. App Store Connect should point at that public URL.

Does Keepzia work offline?

Core cleanup tools run on-device with your Photos library. Purchases and restore need the network (Apple). Support email needs the network.
